Trek mountain bikes are a big name in the field. For the past three decades they’ve been making the most advanced bikes in the world. That’s why they’ve taken responsibility for the development of some of the best young talent on offer. Trek mountain bikes work to foster the best talent through supporting a number of biking teams, not only in the field of mountain biking specifically but in other areas too.

Riders associated Trek Mountain bikes’ teams vary from the biggest names in the world (Lance Armstrong is a member of their Teamradioshack road biking team) to youngsters just starting out. The thing they all have in common is talent and the support from Trek mountain bikes to go all the way.

New to the Trek mountain bikes team list last year was the Trek Canada Mountian Bike Race Team. This team was formed only last year with the aim of supporting young talent as they improve. The team is going to be taking part in several events this year including the World Cup, the Canada cup and the US Pro Cross Country, meaning that they’re set to improve further on their Olympic potential. Since the World Cup Championship will be held in their homeland this year, there’s never been a more apt time to win, and Trek mountain bikes are confident that the Olympic dream will come true.

Trek mountain bikes also have a very well known road biking team, Teamradioshack, made up of 25 riders. 15 countries are represented in this one team, so there’s a good mixture of people, all sharing a common talent. The team is incredibly busy, with 50 events to attend to in ten months this year, including the Tour de France.

Trek mountain bikes also sponsor a triathlon team. Made up of 9 of the world’s top Ironman athletes, the team is consistently successful.

Trek mountain bikes’ dedication to the future stars of the sport give away the company’s unique belief in its future. This investment in the sport’s future is admirable. it is refreshing to see this commitment.
